Rescued dogs arrive at South Fla. shelter

A total of 263 dogs were found Wednesday, cramped in cages and chicken coops. "They were six, seven, eight to a cage, completely matted," said Amanda Chussler of Tri-County Humane Society. "Some of their paw pads are so raw just from being on the cage bottoms. They probably never felt grass."
